Nursing home battles fatal outbreak (AFP)

- An outbreak of a severe respiratory disease, killing hundreds of people, has killed at least five people who had been visiting a nursing home in the city of Kedarnath, sources say.

The deaths are being inves바카라tigated by the state’s Health and Disaster Management Department (HDMD).

Sydney resident, Daniel Jannacci, 31, who died last week, was visiting an inpatient ward at a residential home in the small city on Friday evening, according to a family friend.

He had arrived home at 4:30pm after getting a lift from a friend.

Jannacci had been a regular visitor at the house since September 2013 and returned in late October, according to Sydney nurse Karen Rannazzisi, an MP and one of Rannazzisi’s clients.

She said he had “never looked worse, physically”, despite a history of lung and heart ailments.

“He never used his mobile phone or even checked social media.

“In the early hours of Christmas morning, he was found slumped over at the foot of a bed, unable to be resuscitated.”서산출장안마

Rannazzisi said Jannacci’s body was taken by ambulance to an intensive care unit, where he was declared dead.

Police investigation into the death found that he died of pneumonia after his lungs collapsed after two hours of treatment, Rannazzisi said.

The cause of death has not been reported as yet.

“This is a tragedy of tremendous magnitude,” Sydney police commissioner Andre강남출장안마w Scipione said in a statement. “The local health department and the police investigation have now taken over, but I would urge the public to keep all reports regarding incidents involving sick people to themselves.”

The HDMD has been informed of the case but has refused to release further information.

A hospital spokeswoman said this week that more than 40 nurses and staff members had become infected and that some of them were being sent home or to care centres.

The state health department has reported nine other cases of the disease, which is usually spread by fleas.

Jannacci’s home, near King’s Cross station, is the only nursing home in Sydney that offers residents access to a bedside manner after their hospital admission.
